Reasonable selection of connection mode and correct use of terminal technology are also an important aspect of the use and selection of plastic terminals. welding The most common type of soldering is tin soldering. The most important thing in soldering connection is the continuity of metal between solder and welded surface. Therefore, solderability is very important for terminal and cold-pressed terminal. Tin alloy, silver and gold are the most common coatings on the welded ends of ring terminals. The common welding ends of reed contact pair are pad type, punching pad type and notched pad type. The pinhole contact pair has drilling arc notch type for common welding ends. Crimping Pressing is a technique to compress and displace metals within specified limits and to connect wires to contact pairs. A good crimping connection can produce metal melting flow, which makes the conductor and contact deform the material symmetrically. This kind of connection is similar to cold welding connection, which can obtain better mechanical strength and electrical continuity, and it can withstand worse environmental conditions. At present, it is generally believed that the correct crimping connection is better than tin soldering, especially in the case of high current. Special crimping pliers or automatic and semi-automatic crimping machines shall be used for crimping. According to the section of cold-pressed terminal and cold-pressed terminal conductor, the contact pair conductor barrel should be selected correctly. It should be noted that the crimping connection is permanent and can only be used once. Wound connection Winding is the direct winding of wires on the contact rod with edges and corners. When winding, the wire is wound under tension control, pressed and fixed at the edge and corner of the contact part around the connecting column to form air-tight contact. There are several requirements for winding conductor: the nominal value of conductor diameter should be in the range of 0.25 mm to 1.0 mm; the elongation of conductor material should not be less than 15% when conductor diameter is not greater than 0.5 mm; and the elongation of conductor material should not be less than 20% when conductor diameter is greater than 0.5 mm. The winding tools include a winding gun and a fixed winding machine. Screw connection Screw connection is the connection mode of screw connection precision terminal. It reminds you to pay attention to the maximum and minimum cross-section allowed to connect wires and the maximum tightening moment allowed by screw of different specifications.
